SF BATS --  The biggest event of our divinatory year is the San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium which we have been producing since 1991, which brings together authors, teachers, artists, and Tarot enthusiasts of all levels of interest and experience.  

Mark your calendars and prepare your decks for next year's BATS, when the San Francisco Bay Area Tarot Symposium turns 21 ("old enough to drink," says Ruth Ann Amberstone) on August 25-26, 2012 at the Golden Gateway Holiday Inn in San Francisco.

The oldest and most unique Tarot event in the world, this gathering is renowned for its lively mix of Tarot "greats," fresh new faces, and remarkable local talents, not to mention fabulous shopping, non-stop schmoozery and an astonishing variety of fun. All gatherings of Tarot folk are festive occasions, but - for 21 years, now and always - there is nothing like a BATS.

The programme is in preparation now and will start revealing itself in the days and weeks to come. Also coming soon is an opportunity to participate in the magic! SF BATS will be launching a fundraiser with fabulous perks and fun!

The Daughters of Divination (DoD - not to be confused with the Department of Defence) was formed to explore the oracular Universe in all its mysterious and manifold glory through events, classes, readings and demonstrations of the mantic arts (also to further Thalassa's dreams of Global Domination through divination).
